6/10 Good

This hotel is in dire need of an update and service improvement. The main areas seem clean but our bathroom was awful - black mold in the shower and sink and tile grout. Daytime Reception was not helpful and unfriendly. Nighttime reception was helpful. I sent a shirt for dry cleaning and it came back dirtier than when it left. At least the hotel took it off our bill. We had room service and they had to come back twice because they kept forgetting items on our order and the hamburgers were awful. The spa was lovely - we had a couples traditional hammam and it was dreamy. The concierge was wonderful.

Location is great, all the staff are wonderful especially concierge, breakfast manager and cleaning staff (Aung🙏). We did have a couple of incidents (guests being extremely disrespectful and noisy at night) and feel the situation could have been handled better. We were able to speak to the GM about this and he was very kind, professional and helpful.
