ret good stay but ready to leave

Our room wasn’t ready until 5pm. Clean towels were not available on 4/7 in the morning. Garbage was overflowing around hotel the morning of 4/7. Dirty Pool towels were overflowing on 4/5 evening so there weren’t any new ones to use. Pillows uncomfortable. View amazing from our room. Upon checkout they said I could gave a print out it would be emailed (still not received email). Pretty good location. Great to have breakfast as all the restaurants had long waiting lines to get in if we had to eat out. Patio nice with stream & seating.

Checkin was 3pm, room wasn’t ready until 4:35. Room smelt musty. Water leaked from air vent into suit case and drenched the clothes inside the suitcase. Front desk staff was not welcoming or available. There were several occasions the front desk was left unattended causing us to wait 5-10 minutes for someone to show up to help. We did not have any bedding or extra blankets for the pullout couch.

    Family trip to Gatlinburg

We just returned from a 4 night stay at the Hampton Inn. The hotel was a perfect location to walk to all of the best attractions in Gatlinburg. The hotel itself is in excellent condition, clean, and beautiful. The back porch area which overlooked the river with the fire tables and hot tub was a great place to hang out and unwind after a long day. The pool was a good size and very enjoyed by our kids. Breakfast was standard for a hotel, and was busy due to a sold out hotel. We would stay again and will recommend to everyone!

    No towels

The hotel was nice and convenient room was very clean. The terrible part was they ran out of towels. My kid was there playing volleyball all weekend and needed a shower no towels when we came in late that night and my daughter had played ball for 7 hours and all she wanted was a shower. Had to dry off on hand towels. Then when I went down to check for towels the next morning the staff was completely rude and made it seem as though this was my fault. I realize they were probably frustrated but to be rude was ridiculous and un called for. I had to drive all the way to pigeon forge to buy towels at Walmart so my family could shower! That is crazy! How does a huge hotel run out of towels? And then make guests feel bad. I was never called to say they had more towels never any sort of apology just the staff saying no we do not have any towels and we won’t for awhile . I have stayed at many Hampton inns my daughter travels a lot for sports and never have I ever run into this problem. And when I asked for a later check out because I had to drive an hour both ways in the traffic of pigeon forge to buy towels she was smart and said I will give you til 12 to be out of the room. Then housekeeping knocked on my door at 11:15 and I told them we had til 12 they acted as if I was lying. To pay almost $500 for 2 nights in a hotel I expect to have towels and friendly staff.

    Not Bad

While the hotel its self was very clean and nice there were a few things that slightly irritated me. We were never informed at check in that their was no cleaning service to rooms who were staying for more than one night. Which no big deal, but getting towels was a nightmare! We had 4 people in our room and the most towels we we’re given was 3 bath towels and 2 washcloths. Also, if you’re not back the hotel by 8p good luck finding a parking spot. Several nights we had to park across the street at another hotel because there just wasn’t a spot open.

    Close to everything!

The best thing about this hotel is that it was close to everything! I would not say this it is walking distance unless you want to hike up a mountain at the end of the day! The included hot breakfast was great. You wear gloves that the hotel gives you to fix your plate. Due to Covid, housekeeping still isn’t making daily rounds so you have to sit your trash outside of your room. That kind of makes it look bad when you see trash built up at the elevators or in the hallways. Other than that, the room was comfortable and we got a good price because we booked so early.

We had a wonderful stay. It was a family trip that we needed very bad. From the moment we checked in we were treated wonderfully. It was also extremely clean which was something I was worried about prior to booking the room. I felt like every precaution was taken for covid. It was just wonderful. Beautiful hotel beautiful views clean rooms beautiful patio area. And just a short piece from the strip. I would definitely stay here again and also recommend it to others!
