Still learning to live with covid
Two night stay during covid-19. Compared to other hotels at this time, I felt the attention to safety was lacking. A breakfast time was allocated, and although masks were mandatory, there seemed to be no restriction on the number of people attending breakfast, especially congregating at the buffet and coffee machines.

Free breakfast and child's bed where the conficing points to stay here and these where great. Everything is brand new and clean which is also a great plus. City center is a decent 20 minute walk however.

Very nice and modern hotel. The room was large but needed a chair or two in their to sit on. Easy walking distance to the centre of Trier which was beautiful.

Great modern hotel. Must have only just opened. Breakfast is terrific. But. And it’s a really important but. There are very few parking spaces and when they fill up they send you to the nearby swimming baths. Not at all ideal if you are doing a road trip. They ended up with abandoned cars on a muddy track in front of the hotel. Not great. Think very carefully.

Great Hotel!!
We booked Holiday Inn Express because it had good reviews. It was everything we expected. Check-in was a breeze and the hotel is spotless. Our room was comfortable and quiet. It’s a 15-minute walk to the pedestrian zone and a 5-minute walk to the Mosel. Breakfast had a good variety. Best of all, the staff was very kind and helpful. We would stay again without hesitation!

Easy and happy stay.
The concierge was helpful and greeted us very warmly. There was a good system in place to deal with the current Covid situation - we were given menus and our breakfast was prepared for us so that we just popped down in the morning to collect it. Hotel is modern, clean. Beds are comfortable and I totally recommend.
