I had a great experience at this location. The room was updated, clean, and quiet. The location was great, as it was just 4 miles from MetLife stadium and that was the focus of this trip.

Perfect hotel!
We had the best visit. We came to town for a concert at MetLife stadium - just a 10 minute drive away. The next day we took the bus right from the hotel to NYC for a full day of sightseeing. The bus is just 4 stops and takes you right to Port Authority. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was super friendly! Plenty of great restaurants all in walking distance. This hotel was a big part of the whirlwind weekend of our dreams. We would absolutely stay here again.

Hit and Miss
After calling ahead of time to see if we could check in early if a room was clean and being told yes, we arrived at 2pm and were told that while a clean room was available we would have to pay $35 to check in an hour early. This policy is not on the hotel’s website nor did they tell me this was the policy when I called. There were other guests checking in at the same time who were not told they had to pay $35. The front desk manager was quite rude, but thankfully his boss was more accommodating after I called guest assistance and she let us checkin early without charge (after waiting 29 minutes in the lobby with 4 kids and all of our bags). The room was spacious and comfortable, but the sheets on one bed had makeup stains. We ended up getting clean sheets from a housekeeper and changing them ourselves after the front desk said they would send someone up and no one ever came. Also, there was only one pillow for the sleeper sofa. We asked for another one, but it never arrived either. Breakfast was lovely and very well maintained even with the large number of people eating.

Two thumbs up to Hyatt Place Secaucus
We had a very pleasant stay in New Jersey at the Hyatt Place Secaucus! The purpose of our visit was to see a Broadway play. Travel into the city was VERY easy and convenient from this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. They even helped us arrange transportation to and from the airport. There were many restaurant choices close to the hotel. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Great stay, convenient location!
This was our second time staying at Hyatt Place Secaucus in as many years. As expected, we enjoyed our stay. Clean hotel, helpful staff, and perfect location. The NJ Bus stops right in front of the hotel which allows for a quick, inexpensive, and stress-free trip to NYC. I highly recommend this hotel.
