Violation of Privacy
Well, where to start. I checked in on Wednesday. Checked in, was given a key to my pre-paid room, had dinner at the bar downstairs, chatted with the staff, got in the pool. Went to my meetings on Thursday morning. Again, grabbed a drink at the bar, talked with the staff about where to get dinner. Went to the place recommended. All great, right? Then, I get back to my room about 8:30 pm, start getting ready for a shower before bed, laying out my clothes. And well! A STRANGER OPENS MY DOOR WITH A KEY. A key that the front desk gave her!!!! I scream "WHO ARE YOU!" My heart was racing. She was as SHOCKED as I am. She shows me her key -- clear as day, Room 515 (MY ROOM) written on the front, and told me the front desk just checked her in. 

We walk down together to the front desk. The front desk person (Gerardo) starts GRILLING me about "where my ID is" and "show me proof that that is your room." I explained that obviously my wallet is upstairs IN MY ROOM that I have been staying in. I show him my booking reservation ID and ask for a supervisor (Sirena B. - Front Desk Manager), who explains there's nothing she can do, because I booked through a "third party" (Hotels.com). I explain to her that Hotels.com didn't make the mistake -- THE HOTEL DID by giving a full access key TO A STRANGER to my room.
