We arrived tired after driving all day, we had booked our stay with Expedia the morning the day before, paid in full. I was in a lot of pain from an arthritis flare and just wanted to lay down .. The front desk clerk said she saw the reservation but couldn’t tell if we paid or not.. I told her we had the reservation number and the receipt.. her reply was “ that means nothing to me!” She then said she had to call “them “ to make sure it’s all good! So again I made my receipt larger and leaned forward to show her the area marked “paid in full”.. she wouldn’t even look at it and started saying we needed to wait for her to make a phone all.. but my husband let her know that we paid like we are supposed to , we have the receipt “paid in full” so whatever issues you are having finding things is on you not on us .. we want our room key now please so my wife can lay down and rest! She sighed and mumbled under her breathe something.. but got me to sign the papers and gave us our room keys.. not sounding happy or friendly. Not a nice start to our stay! However … the morning lady was incredible!! She just said “ I see you did my job for me and paid before you got here.. all i need to do is smile and wish you a great day!! She was fantastic!!
