    Exceptional 10.0
A great stay. Definitely do the waterfall hike.
We stayed for 6 days in July, 2018. Unfortunately, the Ferguson fire was raging during this period and our views of Yosemite were marred by the soot in the air. Not the fault of the resort in any case. The rooms were comfortable, the restaurants had good food at a reasonable price. Room service and housekeeping were prompt and polite. The laundry was a blessing. The pools were nice, hot and regular, indoor and outdoor. Plenty of towels.

    Good & bad Service Experience
BF not included and expensive at $20 per adult. Had a little run in with server 'N' when he charged us for adult BF we did not have. We were getting late for our tour so just paid and left. This left a bad taste. Wifi disconnects regularly and you have to login each time. Went to Pizzeria one night & they offered a table in empty & closed conference room when there were tables available in the restaurant. We protested & got a table in the main area. I don't know why the gentleman decided that we should be segregated. Pizza quality is nothing to write about. Very Average. Room service was pretty quick for a large hotel. Archery was great fun. Mary at concierge was very helpful.

Above and beyond service by samantha at reception
We stayed recently for a couple of nights and already from our very welcoming valet entrance to our checking out the service was beyond excellent. There was only one annoyance that I did bring up after having paid our incidentals. The guests above us for both evenings were incredibly heavy footed in their room incessantly making noises roaming up and down within their room. Even though we couldn’t here voices it was the sounds of heavy footsteps beyond 11pm. It got so bad that i gad to call up the front desk on the final night. All this I brought to the attention of samantha at check out who showed genuine empathy and straight away consulted with a senior member of staff. After a few moments she advised me that she would deduct a portion from our bill which was somewhat more than I thought would have expected. I was very grateful for her level of service provided.

    Very Good 8.0
The staff at the Lodge was amazing and the area is absolutely beautiful. We were disappointed that the hot tub for the cottages was unavailable. Was not in working order nor clean. No one mentioned this on check in and pointed it out to us as being nextdoor to where we were staying. I would recommend staying here in the future aside from this one thing.

    Bad room location
Beautiful place to stay. Good and affordable restaurants on site. Unfortunately this doesn't make up for our room location. I cannot walk very far and I have a handicapped parking tag. In addition, at the time of our stay, I had a broken foot. The room we were assigned was on the very end of the wing, as far a walk as possible. To reach our room we had to use an elevator in the middle of the wing. The elevator was broken and the front desk knew that when they assigned us the room. We had to carry all our luggage from the parking lot to the far end of our wing - down a flight of steps to our floor. Forgot to mention we had two children with us. The front desk failed us. Yes, I asked to be moved as soon as we realized the problems. No other rooms available, or so they said. Had a sign outside that said rooms were available. This was our second stay at Tenaya.
