Waste of Money
I’ve returned to The Woodlands Resort after an exceptional stay a few weeks ago to a major disappointment. Room given was not what I expected. Mold and mildew on ceiling of bathroom, hair in the tub, balcony was dirty, not enough staff to assist as needed, noisy guests above me who kept me up, bed was uncomfortable, no ice bucket, and the list goes on. Requested a better room but to no avail because the resort failed to mention they’d booked 2 wedding parties for that same weekend. Needless to say the resort had all their focus on that oppose to every paying guest. All the staff does, including manager “Johnny” is apologize and nothing more. I learned this after speaking with other guests I met at the pool. For someone spending well over a grand, TWICE in a month, I would have expected some type of credit or reimbursement as an Inconvenience. Never again!

Best Vacation EVER
My family loved our stay here for Spring break 2021!!! The hotel is pet friendly and my fur babies even loved it!! I can’t wait to come back this summer!

Disappointed - value not worth the price paid
Price paid does not match what you get for a "resort" type facility. We booked a 1-night stay here as a staycation with kids to kick off our Spring Break. We had two rooms booked on 1 reservation and they put us in two different buildings. They seemed really understaffed for the start of Texas Spring Break. They have 1 front desk with 2 people to handle all customer relations - check-ins, purchasing snacks/drinks from their 'shop' (& don't pay cash because they don't give change), purchasing smores, asking questions. Basically you wait in line if you need anything. If the weather is bad (which is not in their control obviously), there isn't much to stay entertained. Planned activities don't start until noon, lazy river is not heated and there is a 44" requirement on the slide which isn't advertised until you get to the slide entrance. The food & drink options are limited (& no room service, which again may be the case for other resorts). We ended up ordering Dominos pizza for dinner (like so many other families we saw). I would recommend you bring waters/drinks to store in room fridge. The rooms are not anything special and we found many items in corners/under beds that were not ours - candy, panty liners, bottle caps, pubic hair. And we didn't even have to look that hard. We ended up checking out early just to go back home. Definitely disappointed in the experience overall.

Will be back
Everything about my trip was superior except it’s hard to get Front Desk, Room Service, etc., to answer any calls on the weekend. I’ve had to call several times and leave the phone ring before someone actually answered to request things needed.

Great stay!
Great stay. Really nice property. My only complaint is a majority of the plugs were not working, mostly the ones closest to the bed.

Stay was very pleasant and able to utilize pool as it was heated. Restaurants were closed except for 1 but you could get some small snack food items by pool. It was however the off season and with Covid, it was not crowded at all. The grounds are very nice and you are able to take a nice walk without issue. Overall, it was a very nice getaway

Holiday Stay
Long walk to park. Flat sheets used over mattress instead of fitted. No poolside food or drink options. We stayed during the holidays and it was not festive at all. No not recommend going suing Christmas.

It was a nice hotel but not worth the cost of $270 a night. Room was worth about $100 less then that.
