This LQ is an aging facility in a decent location at a good price. The staff is friendly and check in went smoothly. Then the trouble began. The room keys didn’t work at all. After the clerk on duty tried again and failed, she changed the room as the reader was broken. BTW, the LQ card readers are insert, not tap, very old style and less convenient as well. The room was showing age, seemed due for renovation. That said, it included a nice six drawer dresser with plenty of space, something missing from many hotels these days. This room also had plenty of electric sockets and USB plugs available. HVAC is an under window unit, not “Central”. The thermostat had “low batteries, requiring another visit with the clerk to come replace them ( sigh ). And the thermostat didn’t seem to have an “automatic” function. The deadbolt wasn’t functioning at all. The clerk said she would call maintenance, should take about ½ hour. They never showed up. This was fixed the next day and management did give me half off one night of my stay. The closet was oddly spaced and tiny. This LQ is very close to I-880. If you are on that side of the hotel, you will get vehicle noise. This is a serviceable place with aging facilities and issues. Use it for the good price but be aware of the situation. For me, next time in the area, I will pay more for a nicer hotel.

Room was showing its age with worn, old amenities. TV remote control was difficult to use requiring several attempts to do anything with it. Bath tub was stained and worn. The refrigerator was useless at cooling; equal to leaving perishables out at room temperature. There are several higher quality hotels nearby I've stayed at on previous business trips. Will not stay here again.

We came from a long drive and we were both tired. We had my extra large dog with us and La Quinta is always the best option for travelers who jave their dogs with them. It is clean, it is decent, it is comfortable, and fits in any budget. They evem let us check out at 1pm without an extra fee.

The hotel itself was nice, staff was great, room was clean. However, I was stuck next to awful people next door. It smelled horribly of weed, they were blasting music at all hours and fought almost during my entire stay off and on yelling at each other in the hallway and in the room. I feel like staff should be more aware of the people in their facility.

This is the second time I’ve stayed here. The first was decent. However this time, folks were loudly arguing into the night. The next morning, a domestic violence dispute happened in the hall right across my room. I called the front desk and it took forever for them to answer to see if they had called police. They said they had, but response times were often slow. Does this mean these situations happen often? So I called 911 and they patched me in to Fremont police, who said they were on their way. So I was late for work because I couldn’t leave my room for fear of getting in the middle of the fight. After police showed up to diffuse the situation, I was able to leave. There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the hall as I was leaving. I hope this was an anomaly, but I was scared and disappointed. I know I shouldn’t blame this on the hotel, but that was my experience.

Website advertised breakfast, but there was no breakfast. Even coffee often was not ready in the morning. Room was not that clean. Decor was tired. Tap water did not taste good. Toilet leaked.
