Dirty Shame in Greenville, SC

I have stayed at this hotel a few times over the years. In this recent visit the first room they checked us into the room smelled as if you were at the zoo in the elephant habitat. They switched the room to something better. But here is the bottom line this place is DIRTY. Hallways, carpet in the room dirty. The parking lot looks like it has never been picked up. Bags, diapers, soda bottled, empty condom boxes, you name it- a Pig Sty. I don't know if this is a reflection of the customers that stay here or management that is clueless. Nice staff that barely speaks English but the question of the day is who is actually running this place? Poor reflection on La Quinta and I stay at LaQuinta's probably 30 evenings a year. Do a better job. Good news good location and access to the freeway.
