Great place to stay
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also with Covid being an issue the breakfasts were sealed items in individual bags which was a brilliant idea as most of the people there were going to Mayo during the day. They also had discounts for local restaurants in the area

The price was very reasonable even though due to our governor’s shut down there wasn’t any breakfast food, coffee or pool. I felt since amenities were not available the were saving money of staff and maintenance they should give patrons a reduced rate. Older building but reasonably well maintained.

First room they gave us, beds were horrible, sunken down in the middle. Called the desk and they switched our room. The second room was in excellent condition. Beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean.

Great stay, great location
Upon arrival, Carin was absolutely great. She was extremely helpful. The room was a a bit plain, but had one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in at a hotel. The pillows were also nice and I slept well. The breakfast was all individually packaged items, which is nice given the pandemic. I saw staff all throughout the day cleaning various areas. Also, if you are there for a visit to Mayo, which isn't far at all, there is a free shuttle that runs hourly. We will definitely stay again.

You had to go outside to get to the pool in the fall weather that’s not very good in Minnesota the room smelled like it was a smoking room at one time even though it said to be non-smoking
