Check in was good and stay was nice. When I booked the room it stated I got a bottle of wine as part of the stay. Nothing was mentioned upon check in and when I was checking out I inquired about the bottle and the clerk seemed almost put our that I asked the question. He asked if we took one from room and I said no and the option I was offered was to take my key back go back up to the room and get one of the bottles. Just seemed odd and again was not a very pleasant person. Nice hotel in a great lillte area.

We booked on hotels.com. The hotel didn’t have our reservation. They upgraded us to the executive suite, as that was all that was available. That was kind, but the room smelled kind of musty and perfume-y. The room was mostly beautiful. The bed was not very comfortable. The shampoo, conditioner, and soap wasn’t the best. Also, the room was across from reception, so there was noise from the hall and from upstairs at night and in the morning.

A simple, clean room in a historic building
We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and spacious. The front desk people were very helpful and friendly. The parking was in a valet controlled garage and was reasonable at $25. The price was very reasonable compared to other, no doubt fancier places in the area. Plus we got our free bottle of wine per hotels.com!!

A great location for Lake Michigan and walking to Wrigley field. Both are short easy walks. Area is safe. Staff is friendly. The hotel is an older building but is clean. We would stay here again

Flophouse Inside
The area is gorgeous, but I walked in and couldn’t believe the shabby condition of both the common areas and the rooms. Like a flophouse hotel inside with a vaguely ballpark theme. The bed was okay but the rest … crap. Note: this was the most I’ve ever spent myself on a hotel.

The hotel was close to the Wrigley field venue. It’s an old property that’s well worn. Staff (Amelia) was very friendly. The price was high for the quality of the property. The room was clean but the beds are old and lumpy. We wouldn’t choose this property again.

My stay at the Majestic suited my purposes just fine. It's close to Wrigley and very easy to find. The neighborhood seemed safe and walkable but if you are someone looking for tons of dining or shopping options steps from your hotel, this is not that. It's very much part of a residential neighborhood. The staff were phenomenally friendly. Everything was a bit outdated, very very worn carpet, peeling wall paper, squeaky bed and scary elevator but none of that really mattered. I was safe and comfortable and well taken care of. Might not be my top choice for the price, but it's not a bad choice overall
