An ok place to stay
A nice cheap-ish place to stay. Check-in wasn't particularly smooth though. Was told to check-in at The Venue, which was closed, went to reception which was also closed. Couldn't get hold of anyone as it was NYE. Luckily the nice lady in the shop told us we'd need to wait for security who were away dealing with something. We had to wait a good 30-40 minutes before we could check-in. Once in we found our room had been used, the bed was a mess and there were dirty towels, so we were moved. The only thing that really saved the situation were the people. The lady in the shop was lovely and helpful as were the security guys. We were lucky and had the flat to ourselves so had the run of the kitchen. I think if it's full it would be a struggle if you want to use the kitchen as it's not that big. Also the doors to the bedrooms really bang which could be a problem if there's other people there.

Excellent location
Good place to stay if in the area - couldn't fault for customer service, cleanliness, ambience and value for money. Check in was straight forward, despite turning up mid evening due to severe motorway delays. Check out easy. Room was spacious and bed very comfortable. This is student accommodation ie in a student village but there was no problem with noise - in fact the complex was very quiet. Free parking on site but a short walk from the apartments ie not on the doorstep. This would only be an issue if you had mobility problems though. No kettle or TV in room - these are in the shared kitchen along the corridor. The plus side is that there is a microwave and hob in the kitchen so you could bring something in to make or heat up if you wanted. During my overnight stay I didn't bump into any other guests, although there were people around. Would stay again if the need arose.
