Great Room in a great location.
The building is located in a very convenient area. I could walk to restaurants, supermarket and subway stations. The room was clean and spacious with all the necessary amenities.

I did not know what I was getting into with Avalon, but what started with mild trepidation ended with smiles. I was greeted, the property rules were explained and I was treated very kindly, all questions answered and all offers of added service given, towels, housekeeping etc. when I got to the room I was blown away! Super clean and modern. The bed was a hard memo foam which is PERFECT for me. The view and location are great and I will be back.

Not an Apart-hotel: It is illegally operated
It is an apartment in an apartment block, not a proper apart-hotel as described: grossly over-committed facilities, no concern for compliance. Mattresses were deeply sunk & broken: we had to buy cotton sheets and sleep on the floor and the next day struggle for cancellation of remaining period and seek a refund. Thanks to Hotels.com we rebooked elsewhere. Polyester sheets (not cotton - as written in the description). On the whole - it will be better to stay in a proper apart-hotel or hotel rather than an individual's house that is poorly maintained.
