Enjoyable stay
I enjoyed staying at the pleasant hotel opposite the Artis Zoo. It is easily reachable from the Central station thanks to the excellent team 14 service. The bedroom is comfortable with clean towel provided every day. The breakfast choice is excellent. The staff is very friendly and cooperative.

Very clean, close to the tram or a 25-minute walk to the central station which was handy. Nice self-scanner shop in the front lobby. Staff we're very nice and helpful. The rooms were small, and the bathroom was tiny. We had a room near the front lobby, could hear people saying goodbye at 5 o clock in the morning which was a bit annoying.

The Lancaster was well situated near the tram lines. It’s good for a family of 4 although room is small - typical of Amsterdam hotels. We came during winter so no problems with heating, it was toasty warm and the children were not complaining.

This is a fantastic property. It is in a more 'residential' area but we loved the easy access to everything. We walked a few doors down to a fabulous restaurant "Box Sociaal" and it became our favourite on the trip! The hotel, the staff and room were all excellent. Our stay included a fantastic breakfast! The only comment I can make (and I don't fault the hotel for this) was the constant banging of hotel room doors. It's an active city and people arrive at all hours. The doors are heavy and close very loudly. I would simply post a reminder to guests to please prevent the doors from slamming as a courtesy to others.
