Not worthy of a 4 star
The hotel is clearly engaged in false marketing by not disclosing its ongoing renovation on popular booking platforms like Hotels.com or MMT. I used to be a loyal guest at ITC Kakatiya, but their consistently poor service, both during check-in and in the restaurant, made me lose interest. Hoping for a better experience, I decided to give them another chance, but it only got worse. The check-in process was abysmal, with me initially being placed in a room that had clearly been used, complete with stained linens and dirty cutlery. Getting them to change my room was a struggle, and the alternative room wasn't any better, with stains on the carpet and a bathroom door that wouldn't budge without effort. To add to the disappointment, the construction noise persisted until as late as 8:30 pm every day. Despite my complaints and attempts to contact the Front Office Manager, Gopi, they showed no responsiveness or willingness to address the issues. This is far from what one would expect from a supposed four-star hotel, and it has lost its charm entirely. I strongly discourage anyone from considering this property

All would be really good if only the hotel staff did not choose to start cleaning rooms close to mine at 4 AM for THREE consecutive nights although I asked to not do that maybe? I mean that's a bit too much.

Disappointing stay - rooms need a remodel
Sad to say that this hotel is past its prime. The lobby and restaurants are nice/well run. The rooms are another story - the moldy/musty scent is inescapable. If you look further into reviews this has been an ongoing problem other guests have complained about. Run down floors/furniture/bathroom. In general the staff are very nice and accommodating but it’s not worth it to stay at this hotel. The pool area is not kept up at all and looks like it’s from an abandoned building. The breakfast and fitness areas have too many mosquitoes flying around. At the front desk I heard another guest complaining about the mosquitoes in their room. I hope ITC will remodel this property in the future and fix these issues.

My biggest concerns: 1. I saw a group of men sleeping in the hallway because they could not fit into their room. Just shows poor management by the hotel. Made me feel unsafe. 2. At 9.00 am I got a call asking if I was checking out that day. Something I have never experienced at another 5 star hotel. It almost assumed that I do not know when to checkout also did not respect my privacy. 3. Found a cockroach in a bathroom. I was so turned off by this property that would never stay there again.
