Location is great, not very clean
This location was really nice. Close to the water and close to everything. There is no dog relief area onsite, but across street. However, quite a few problems with the room itself. We booked the kitchenette room for 3 nights. The prior guests trashed it pretty bad. The toilet was not working and the motel was fully booked. The front desk woman was very nice and offered the only other room that was not booked; a single King with a broken TV. She offered for us to stay in the kitchenette but use the toilet in the Single King room. And then move us into a different room the following day closer to the level of kitchenette. We moved our stuff into the kitchenette and immediately regretted it. The stench from the broken toilet was awful. The room was not properly cleaned and the floor was sticky like a bar. One bed was broken and on the floor. The linen cleanliness was questionable. The cabinet doors were missing, the nightstand was torn off the wall along with the headboard. I wiped up the floor with water and washcloths and it was no longer sticky. So there’s no way they cleaned the floor. When we went into single King room to use the toilet, it was much cleaner and didn't smell. So we asked if we could just move in there for the night. That room was ok. The shower water was backwards. Hot was cold, cold was hot. The sink faucet was not even attached to the sink. Next day we moved into a double queen. Sink was dirty and hand towels instead of bath towels.
Broken bed on left. Headboard is torn off wall and side table is also torn off.
This is from me wiping up the sticky floor.
