Spring skiing at Mammoth Mtn
First time my husband and I have stayed here. Price was grrreat, but it really needs refurbishing. Room was very large with a little extra sink and counter top, plus a microwave and real dishes if we wanted to use them. Frig actually had a freezer that I loved to be able to re-freeze my Blue Ice every night to use in our lunch cooler the next day. Few hotel refrigerators have a freezer anymore. Bed was comfy--king size--- but the pillows were WAY TOO HARD! Glad I had brought my own! Real drawback is that there's no elevator and we had to drag our large luggage up a 19 stair staircase! Unloading and loading back up was a real challenge for my 88 year old husband with Parkinson's Disease and even me at 65! The hotel is a real maze trying to find the dining room and that's where the ONLY ICE MACHINE was! Our reservation was fouled up too! Had us down for May 22-26 INSTEAD OF MAY 8-12!!! So the clerk had to redo it and thankfully they weren't booked up!! Very unhappy with that mistake! Plus there were NO GROUND FLOOR ROOMS like I requested! Only the office and parking garage are on the ground floor! Rooms are on the first and second!! So everyone has to drag their luggage up at least two flights of stairs! Breakfast was only Continental with bagels, English Muffins, apples, bananas, three kinds of dry cereal, milk, OJ, & coffee. Some yogurt would have been nice! We survived & we appreciated at least having these breakfast items for free!

Great for Budget Ski Trip
Great for the price. Among the cheapest at Mammoth, but the service was fantastic, the room had amenities like 2 fridges and a microwave, and the curtains really kept put all the light. The ski shuttle is right in front, the hot tub was hot, and the clientele was smart, international and friendly. I'd recommend to anyone.

Convenient and clean hotel
We went for skiing and had a great time. It snowed alot so the underground parking was great. The bus to the mountain is right in front of sierra lodge just a 1 minute walk out the door. We brought are own food so the kinchinette worked out great there are dishes and utensils right in the cabinet. There is a restaurant right across the street and Johns pizza close by. The room was clean quiet nice tv plenty of hot water. The maid service does a great job everymorning or if you would just like a towel change and trash taken out. Everything in the room works great!! We had a great stay at Sierra lodge.
