If you need a place to stay while traveling
Hotel is good to stay at if you're traveling with family. Good for an overnight.....safe, clean and by McDonald's, Taco Bell, gas station and some other things you might need to stop at.

Very clean no-frills hotel, COMFY bed
Very clean no-frills hotel, could definitely use updating but the room was clean, the linens were soft, and the bed was very comfortable. Staff was on site and very friendly.

Toilet was overflowed, side door to outside next to my room unlocked to a creepy parking lot, very bad smell. Only stayed 3 hours because I was so creeped out and couldn’t use the bathroom. Skip this one.

This hotel is clean. However, the pool was closed and we didn't find out until check in. Our tv has a line going through it. The bed pillows are the size of couch throw pillows. On another note, the mattress is soft and comfortable. The blankets are actually regular nice bedding too. I am unsure about breakfast because I am writing this review the evening of the stay.. one last thing, if you are a person who wants/needs plugs on both sides of the bed, you are out of luck here.

Website said nothing of the pool being renovated at the time of our stay. Checked in, kids got suits on... pool closed. Couldnt go to a different hotel because non-refundable. Rooms outdated.

The hall smelled bad, but the room had no smell at all. The breakfast bar seemed very sparse and wasn’t restocked. When we got there there was no fresh fruit, the waffle batter was out, no cream cheese for the bagels.

Not clean not quiet, not well-maintained
Well, first air conditioner was extremely loud the bathroom faucet leaked. I killed a roach at 2 AM in the bathroom. The luggage cart doesn’t steer needs work, and the manager did not seem to care one bit when I told him of these issues.

The light in the bathroom (the mirror light/ not the overhead light) did not work.
There was an empty energy shot bottle in the corner of the room, behind the door.
The towels weren't thick/fluffy and there was only 2. If the towels are that flimsy, there need to be more than 1 per person.
The staff at check-in was VERY courteous. However, the process seemed to take longer than it should have.
Breakfast hours were extremely limited - when we checked out at 9:30 on a Saturday, it was already over and cleaned up.

Not worth the cheap rate.
The staff was terrible at best. When I told them there was a roach in my room the joked and said “sorry about the extra pets in your room”. When I called back later and spoke with the manger I was told “sorry sometimes guests leave ‘things’ behind”. I showed pictures of the roach and even left it smashed to the door (I’m terrified of bugs and was alone) and when they checked the room they said “they didn’t see anything”. I will never stay at that hotel again and I recommend you don’t either. On top of the roach the furniture was trash day special. The office chair had so much leather cover missing it was grey instead of black. The tiny pillows combined with the hard as a rock bed lead to about 3 hrs of sleep. Then the cherry on top was the shower. The water pressure was terrible barley coming 2 inches off the faucet and the water never really got hot.

When I arrived, the check in person would not change my reservation and said Expedia needed to do it. I contacted Expedia and they said they talked with Riken and that he would have the manager change the reservation. That did not happen and when I spoke the next night with Riken, he said he did not say that and that I need to call Expedia. So I took more time to chat with Expedia and they said they could not resolve it until after 8am. I told him I would be checked out by then and that didn't help. When I checked out, they said I still had to pay for 4 nights even though I only stayed 3. I got a call an hour later that I would be refunded for the 4th night. The next day when I checked my credit card, it showed they charged me for 4 nights when I checked in, then charged me another night on top of that, and then refunded that extra night claiming that was the 4th night, when it was for a mystery 5th night. The manager I spoke to on Sept 25 was very rude and talked over me when I was trying to explain the problem. I would not stay here again and advise anyone else in the Sellersburg area to stay somewhere where the staff and management care about the customer and not making bonus money. One of the worst managers I've ever dealt with. Normally managers are considerate of customers... but not at "Quality" Inn in Sellersburg Indiana.

Not so happy weary travelers! 😕
We arrived at 1:45 pm and was told we couldnt check in until 3. I said, Your sign says 2pm He said, not today you will have to come back. We waited in our car over an hour after driving for 9 hours. Went back in at 3 and got our room. Now all I want is a hot shower. Forget it. I turned the shower on and climbed in. No water pressure, NONE! As for the hot water, I had to stand in there for 20 minutes to get warm water. I was not happy at all. My husband used the toilet and went to flush it and the chain on the inside of the tank fell off. So everytime we had to use the facilities we had to stick our hand in the back tank and pull the rubber piece up. After all that I wanted to relax and watch TV on the bed. Didn't happen! The lights in the room flickered the whole time they were on. We were so tired by then we went to sleep. The next morning we got up to swim and you guessed it. The pool was closed. No explanation. He said, No, No pool, closed!!! The only reason I stayed was the king bed was comfortable. My husband was exhausted and we were there for our God daughters wedding on Saturday. I would not recommend this place. It was not up to our standards and the gentleman that checked us in (I believe was the owner) was rude and demanding.
