We first stayed at this hotel in 2024, and we enjoyed our experience so much that we decided to come back again this year. We noticed a few differences compared to our previous stay, but overall everything went very well and we had another very enjoyable holiday. The hotel is in a great position, our room was clean and comfortable. The food was excellent, with a great variety. A very special mention goes to Head Chef Tanos, a true professional and an exceptionally kind person. He was always helpful, attentive and welcoming, and always had a smile on his face. His professionalism, kindness and positive attitude really made a difference and contributed to making our stay even more enjoyable. Many thanks to Tanos! We had a very nice experience.

Food was bad, and the place had a lot of broken things around. Like broken roof tiles and doors at the restaurant. Also shower didn’t even have a shelf for products so you had to set things like soap on the floor. This could be unsafe for older or heavier people. Staff was great actually, but didn’t make up for general unkept feeling. We went just after busy season and they seemed to have shuttered part of the resort, so the nice room we booked and paid for we didn’t get. But there was no adjustment to price to match the lesser room. Also getting ice or bottled water for the room was a pain. You had to bring your own water bottle to the dinning area to fill it up. The place just generally lacked quality. It might be par for the course for Corfu, as we noticed the whole island felt rundown. That still doesn’t excuse the general lack of quality. Underwhelming travel experience basically, despite pleasant staff that seemed to put in effort.

Amazing location!

Location is absolutely amazing. Super friendly staff. Great variety during meals. Rooms are little outdated and minimal comfort ( no place to sit unless on the bed/couch, would have been nice to have a decent seat). Airco works well. More entertainment would have been nice. Enjoyed our stay because of the great location and lovely people.

Nice small hotel

Small hotel, close to the beaches and Sidari town. Nice and clean pool with lots of sunbeds. Very nice waiters, enough tables in restaurant. Wide range of food, vegetables, salads, theme's nights. Fitness was poor, according to my son (but who use it on holiday 😀) We really enjoy our stay. Would recommend.

Lovely small resort, fantastic staff and an excellent location. But we didn’t get the classification of rooms we booked and were downgraded on arrival. This seemed to be a problem for a lot of guests, so I think there was a systemic booking problem over the winter/spring period while the resort is closed. In fairness they did manage to give us adjacent rooms after the first night, initially we were spread across two blocks hundreds of meters apart.

We really enjoyed our stay. Definitely worth getting the swim up room with private pool. Not too far from beaches but be warned that the canal d’Amour beach which is closer is permanently packed in August. You can swim round to it from the smaller beach nearby though if you are a strong enough swimmer. The sunset was lovely at the restaurant on the cliff and we mostly had it to ourselves. Rooms were a bit smaller than they look in the photo but fine for our stay for 5 nights. The only issue was our towels were only changed once throughout and it would have been nice to get fresh ones every couple of days. Otherwise the room was clean but not very modern. Breakfast was fine and the staff were really friendly.

The staff were fantastic at this resort, special shoutout to Alexandra (Restaurant Manager) and Mike (Bar staff) Both so lovely and easy to talk to! For a cheaper priced holiday we couldn't have asked for much more! Was slightly disappointed with our leaking shower and drink selections at the bar but we made the hotel aware of this at the end of our stay and Mike was able to switch alcohol options so we didn't have to drink cocktails we didn't like, also the hotel cat was a personal favourite very lovely to see him at breakfast, lunch and dinner and many places to visit locally with amazing scenery. If staying in this hotel i would recommend a sunset meal at their a la carte restaurant, greek night at the three little pigs, a sunset trip to the 7th heaven and a 15€ coach day trip into the old town and was told it is even more beautiful at night time (we didn't have enough time!). Would advise on pre booking transfers as taxi's are expensive! Overall a truly wonderful holiday. Thanks to everyone who made this trip special.

We stayed at Akron as a family of 4, with a 3 year old and a 2 year old. It was a really great resort to stay for what we wanted, which was to have all amenities on site or nearby. We went half board, we’d planned to just do bed and breakfast but it was only £1 a night more for half board when I booked. But we’re so glad we did, the food was varied each night, it was tasty, and it made it way easier with the 2 kids. You also get local beer or wine included at dinner even if you’re not all inclusive which was nice. The breakfast also had lots of variety. Staff also really lovely. We stayed in a superior maisonette - 2 storey with a balcony on the lower floor. No swim up pool. We actually had our 2 kids sleep upstairs in the master room (2yo in a cot and 3yo in the bed) and we slept on the twin beds in the living area. There’s a steep set of stairs between the floors that you don’t really want young kids going up or down on their own and you can’t block them off from the living area. So. With the kids upstairs we could keep them safe in the bedroom with the door closed and not have to sneak past them during nap time or after their bed time to use the bathroom or go on the balcony. The pool area is great and doesn’t ever feel crowded, the kids pool is about 2 ft deep all over so not “paddle depth” at any point. So kids who can’t swim always need arm bands etc. Canal d’amour beach literally 1 min walk from pool. 10+ restaurants a 5 min walk from reception.

The hotel is located in a beautiful spot on top of the Canal D Amour with easy walking to the resort shops and restaurants. The food was delicious and authentically Greek, a good variety too. The pool is lovely and big enough to swim easily, never crowded. The stand out feature is how lovely every single member of staff is, they really went above and beyond to be friendly and helpful. We loved it when the bar staff all kept up to join in the Greek dancing. My only caveat would be the steps up to second floor of the apartment could be a problem with small children.

We had a fantastic stay at Akron Resort! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this resort is committed to providing a top-notch, family-friendly experience. The service was exceptional—every staff member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and eager to help with anything we needed. The resort was spotlessly clean at all times, with staff regularly maintaining both the common areas and the food stations. The all-inclusive food options were impressive, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious choices. The stations were constantly restocked and kept clean, which made every meal enjoyable. Even though the hotel was fully booked during our stay, we never once felt crowded. There were always plenty of loungers by the pool, no waiting in lines, and a calm, relaxed atmosphere throughout the property. One of the highlights for me was how truly family-oriented the resort was. It was peaceful, well-managed, and respectful—no loud parties, no drunken behavior, just a great environment for families to enjoy their time together. Hôtel loin d’un vrai 4⭐. Sécurité insuffisante, (barrière cassées et falaise de 25m de haut) propreté décevante, chambres mal entretenues, bruit musique tjrs à fond de 11h à 23h, transats monopolisés, l hôtel n a pas l’air de se sentir concerné. Hotellet motsvarade ej våra förväntningar, efter att ha läst alla andra positiva recensioner. Låt oss börja med det positiva. Stora rum, internet fungerade väl och restaurangen hade ett brett utbud med rätter för både äldre och yngre. Läget passade oss väldigt bra, då det var lugnt och avskilt men nära nog till strand och ”the strip”. Solstolarna hade sköna madrasser och bra med parasoll och skugga på området, men var slitet. Majoriteten av personalen var väldigt trevliga, men ett fåtal önskade nog att de jobbade med något annat. Nu till det negativa. Städningen var under all kritik, det verkar som att man inte dammsuger rummen mellan gäster. Tre dagar kom vi tillbaka till ostädade rum och fick kontakta receptionen för handdukar. Vatten och elförsörjning kommer och går, olyckligt nog mitt i duschningen när man står intvålad. Vattnet luktar unket. Vattenlåsen fungerar ej i badrummet så det luktar avlopp. Restaurangen kändes som en skolmatsal, dels pga gästerna men även pga personalen som smäller med tallrikar och bestick när de städar upp, och inredningen var sliten, All-inclusive motsvarade inte våra förväntningar. Ölen var bra, vinet var OK men läsk var lokala fabrikat (ej bra) och drinkarna gjordes av en maskin och smakade inte alls som de skulle. Det fanns inga snacks utöver en slabbig glassfrys där småbarn hade tagit glass till sig själva. Endast maskinkaffe, annars kostade det extra. Huvudpoolen var väldigt grumlig och det kändes inte fräscht att bada i den.

Vår vistelse på Akron Seascape Resort överträffade verkligen alla våra förväntningar. Redan vid incheckningen kände vi oss varmt välkomna. Kvinnan i receptionen gjorde hela processen otroligt smidig och bemötte oss med ett leende, stor professionalism och en genuin vilja att hjälpa till. När vi anlände hade lunchen precis avslutats. De snacks som fanns framme passade tyvärr inte oss, men restaurangchefen tog initiativet att göra fantastiskt goda baguetter åt oss – trots att han absolut inte behövde. Den omtanken och servicenivån är något man sällan upplever och förtjänar verkligen högsta betyg. För oss är det världsklass. En annan händelse som verkligen visar vilken fantastisk personal hotellet har var när jag och min fru en kväll ville besöka 7th Heaven. Receptionen försökte boka en taxi, men det fanns inga lediga. Då sa receptionisten: “Jag kör er istället så att ni får uppleva det.” Hon körde oss helt utan kostnad, enbart för att hon ville hjälpa oss. Den gesten kommer vi aldrig att glömma. Hela personalen på Akron Seascape Resort får en att känna sig som mer än bara en gäst. Deras engagemang, vänlighet och vilja att alltid göra det lilla extra skapade en semester vi kommer att minnas länge. Vi lämnar hotellet med fantastiska minnen och kan varmt rekommendera Akron Seascape Resort till alla som söker ett hotell med hög service, genuint värdskap och en familjär atmosfär. Vi kommer utan tvekan tillbaka!

Lo mejor del hotel es el personal, super amables tanto en decepción como en el restaurante buffet. En general la experiencia fue muy buena. Está al lado del canal d’amour y de muchísimos restaurantes y bares. También tiene la playa al lado y unas vistas increíbles. Lo único que para el precio podrían mejor algunos servicios.. como un equipo de animación, algunas tumbonas y camas balinesas están deterioradas y una parte del hotel sin cuidar.

Buon rapporto qualità prezzo, colazione e pasti abbastanza vari e buoni. Area piscina e bar rilassanti. Chicca, non per tutti, la piscina fronte stanza condivisa con poche camere. Pecca non c'è una vera e propria spiaggia però c'è il canale dell'amore, molto caratteristico e meta di pellegrinaggio di molti turisti. Da ripetere.
