Sorell Hotel Seidenhof, Zurich, Switzerland

We had booked two single occupancy twin bed rooms. However there was only a single bed in both the rooms. We pointed this out to the receptionist but we were informed very casually that the hotel was sold out and they didn't have any rooms. Found this to be very disappointing especially when booking clearly mentioned twin bed. Further was the smallest room I have stayed in anywhere in the world which made it very inconvenient. The hotel should have adjusted the price as they allotted us lower category rooms but that too was not even offered.

the hotel was near the main train station. surprisingly we were upgraded to the christmas decor room. the room was clean and spacious than average hotel in europe. overall pleased with the hotel service desk. will definitely stay here again

I've stayed at the hotel many times, but not in the past 15 years. I arrived early morning, but had paid from the night before to ensure I could check in on arrival. (I had advised the hotel of this via email.) On arrival, they did not have the king bed I requested and said they could adapt the twins to a king - but it took repeat calls to the front desk over an hour and a half to get the bed corrected. The room was over a very noisy courtyard and I had to call the front desk and ask for quiet at 10 am. There were cobwebs at the ceiling. The mattress was quite soft and hurt my back. Overall, this is not the quality I received in previous visits, the cost for this level of service (or lack of service) was very high, and I will not stay there again.

My stay was good, the staff are so kind and helpfull.

Conveniently located, walkable from Zurich hb, close to team. Great staff, excellent breakfast, clean, safe room.
