I would never return here!
The front desk is not friendly, a couple of rhe clerks are. The rooms are noisy since you can hear,even murmuring from the adjacent rooms. I asked for a change of room necause of rhe noise; a rude clerk instructed me to pack up and be ready to be moved to another room before I left the hotel for the day, I did and when I was going out he told me he would NOT move me that day, but the next day. That night I was awaken by a noise coming from the room next door at 4:00 a.m. The clerk did come to check and the noise stopped for a while but then resumed! The carpets on hallways and stairs are very filthy the rooms are only partially cleaned, and a little deck I had was NEVER cleaned during my whole stay. I was also charged 60 Euros upon checking out for some type of tax I thought I had already paid. I would never return to this hotel, nor would my family; and of course, I would never recommend it to anyone! One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in, in Europe!

This hotel is a very good value in Rome. Yes it is a historic building. Location is first class on Metro station, one stop from Roma Termini. Breakfast was wonderfull service personal excellent and very helpful. I will be back many times.

It was nice to stay at Napoleon Hotel. Staffs were friendly. Especially our first day arrived. The Gentleman worked that day was so helpful and super friendly, super nice. He knows alot of places to get around like good restautants,good places to visit...etc...

If you are into vintage then this is the place for you. This hotel is listed as a four star hotel but it looked and felt more like a two star. The staff in the front desk was polite but the staff in the breakfast room not so much. The hotel is conveniently located so it is walking distance from some attractions but not walking distance from Vatican City. The room was okay but there is no sink space to put your toiletries when getting ready. There was also just one small hook in the bathroom to hang stuff on. The bedding and pillows were not the most comfortable. The pillows were really flat and the bedding included a sheet and a thin blanket. Unfortunately we stayed at Napoleon when it was cold so the bedding wasn’t the greatest. The bed was also pretty hard so it didn’t help with my back issues.

Nice hotel in a good location, 10min walk from the Colosseum. A few dining options around and close to transport. The hotel is due for renovations but still is clean and well maintained. Breakfast was great and customer service is good too. Very good value for money.
