A stunning resort designed for relaxation.
This is an amazing resort set in lush greenery facing the Andaman Sea. The setting is stunning. The kids club is the best we have ever seen and we had to drag the kids out of there to take them on excursions. The pools are lovely and the kids’ pool is great for those who are not confident swimmers. The slide is popular although it needs to be restored as it has some rough edges (not that it bothered the kids). The rooms are nice but there was a distinct smell of must from some of the bedding. This was slightly off putting. Also, the shower door let a lot of water through and the main faucet didn’t work. Not a game changer although it would have been nice if everything worked. We ate in all of the restaurants and the service was okay. There was often a lot of confusion over what we had ordered and some things never showed up at all, despite the staff being absolutely lovely. The food was good when it did show up. There is a spectacular fire show on the beach twice a week, which was a huge hit with adults and children alike. There is a massage shack on the beach where locally trained ladies deliver a variety of massages suited to everyone’s taste. Overall, we had a fabulous stay here and would definitely recommend it. We would put up with the few niggly problems again as the resort it so lovely. The pros definitely outweigh the cons by a huge amount.

En esta oportunidad el complejo sostuvo matrimonios indios (nada en contra de ellos) donde se desarrollaron eventos altamente ruidosos e invasivos por varios días en diversos sectores del resort en forma simultánea. No se respetó a los demás pasajeros en absoluto. El problema era fácilmente anticipable pero no hubo consideración a los demás. No hay excusa posible para lo ocurrido, se sabía lo que iba a pasar con esos eventos pero la administración consintió en perturbar a todos los demás por varios días
