Overall, good stay at Margaritaville. My biggest complaint would be the elevators! There are 4 elevators for 20 floors which is insane. The day of checkout only 3 of the 4 elevators was working and after my family and I waited nearly an hour for an elevator to stop that wasn't full to the brim, we dragged our luggage down 9 flights of stairs. Not exactly a great ending to our stay. Rooms and property are beautiful though and the rest of our stay was enjoyable.

Booked thru a 3rd party to be able to pay a deposit and pay the remainder at checkin. At checkin, was told the hotel forgot to take the deposit therefore i had to pay all up front. I did not receive any email updating ne if this befoe arrival. Even though I had the means for full amount, I wasnt expecting it. I didn't see anywher online that some parts of areas will be closed. Swim up bar, hotel restaurant and slides. Also had issues with our access cards not working at some of the gates and the arcade. Was charged for valet when I didn't use it. Our balcony had no light for night time. Staff was very nice, bed sqeaked but pillows and comforter were so comfortable. We didnt get any robes in our room :/ View was so nice., lazy river was fun, coffee shop nice, restaurant food next door was okay. My daughter and I enjoyed our girls mini get away for her school break.

Beautiful place but lots of frustrations.
Beware this place is gorgeous, but very under staffed and what staff they do have seems to be under trained… (took 4 times explaining, like I was the idiot that there is such a thing as over medium eggs). The elevator waits were horrendous, especially at check out time on Sunday (30 minutes) Most staff didn’t know Common American English terms and were like robots getting an unrecognized command. There is also a $45/day “resort fee”. They pre-authorized $1,100 on my pre-paid room. The sofa bed was half tucked away upon arrival. The corner of the rug was a dangerous trip hazard took a day to tape it down. Water fountains at the conference center were turned off requiring purchase of $6/16 Oz bottled water. Shower/faucet water was very low flow and low pressure.
