Great place to stay in Potsdam

We really enjoyed our stay at the Mercure Hotel in Potsdam. The room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel location is perfect; an easy walk from the train station and to the city centre, plus great a great view of the Havel river and surrounding countryside!

The front desk people were extremely nice and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. Restaurant and breakfast staff were sometimes a bit grumpy. Bar and restaurant not open Sunday or Monday evenings which is a shame. Snacks and drinks are available from the front desk. Room service would have been nicer.

Na ja……

Standardzimmer ist sehr klein. Toilette und Dusche mit einer Schiebetür zu schließen und ebenfalls sehr klein . Kaum Platz vorhanden Zimmer werden nur gereinigt wenn man die Rezeption darum bittet….. nach dem dritten Tag habe ich mal nachgefragt . Hier sollte beim Check in seitens der Rezeption an den Gast darauf hingewiesen werden !! Parkgebühr von 24€ pro Übernachtung schon heftig überteuert meiner Ansicht nach.
