The best breakfast we’ve ever had in a hotel. The facilities were excellent. The communal areas had lovely artwork, sculptures and decoration. The restaurant was excellent too. We loved the local and how easy it was to walk into Chester - so we didn’t need to get in the car quite so often, which made the holiday more relaxing. The rooftop car parking was easily accessible from the hotel too. The room was comfortably big enough for 4 people and we liked the large 55inch TV. Our only note - in our room - 307 - some of the wallpaper was peeling and the paint was a bit tired.

The staff were very willing to please and a small issue we had with our bathroom lock was fixed within 30 minutes of check in. Would have given 5 stars but the Club Lounge is quite sparse compared to other hotels we've stayed at and is more like a quiet room with a coffee machine and limited soft drinks. The complimentary canapes served as part of the Club room package were pretty much the same for each of the 3 nights. Also, very limited alcohol options available at the bar during the complimentary service time.
