This hotel is great for a 4 star in Mexico.
This hotel is great. People need to realize that 100’s stay each night and only a few complain. We are in their country and need to be more accepting. We love the Krystal and will be back.

Beautiful sunsets
Resort property is beautiful, as are the rooms. The resort staff were all friendly and worked hard to accommodate people. Pools were beautiful, but as all places, you need to get up early if you want any chair. That also included the beach. Sunsets were incredible and we watched whales daily from the pool. We had a beautiful room with a big bathroom. It was clean and floors were washed daily. Fridge always stocked. Our bathroom mirrors needed replacing as the backs are peeling, making them look dirty (they weren’t dirty). Wifi was non existent in our room. (Ocean front King Suite) Had to walk three doors down to get any wifi. Coffee shop made excellent coffees and the sky bar was a fun place to hang out and take in the view. Drinks and food poolside were good. They had burger fiesta and the burgers were fabulous. Also included fish and chicken burgers. Buffet had lots of choices - food was typical buffet food A downside for me was having to line up before 7:30 so we could get a reservation for one of the restaurants at the resort for the next day. Our friends came later during our stay and because they booked with another company their reservations at the restaurants were already made for them in advance. Not really fair to the people who have to line up for a reservation and then don’t get a time before 9:00pm or don’t get one at all. Overall, the resort is good value and a gorgeous place to stay. We would come back again knowing what to expect.

When we got there we found that we had been upgraded. What a awesome surprise. We loved everything about this place. The only thing that was a bit off was when some of the food dishes were empty it took a while before they were filled up again. Some of the diners were a little mad at the staff over the slow response. We will definitely be back.

The staff was very accommodating, friendly and communicated in English. The entertainment crew were upbeat and got everybody engaged. The food at all three restaurants was amazing and the service was top notch. The buffet food was ok probably a 5 out of 10. The buffet service was aweful, you would be finished eating before even getting a drink. Nightly entertainment was amazing. The take a bite cafe is a nice addition to the bars. They're lattes are delicious and the service was great. Check in and check out was easy and painless. Room service was good but the menu was very limited. Housekeeping was good, room was cleaned everyday and cleaned well. The pools were extremely clean and we even got bar service on the beach. The Krystal Grand was an amazing resort and we would return again.

The attention from the staff was kind, in the different points of the hotel, however they have an organization issue at the reception with the check in and check out part, they take too long in doing that procedure. The cleanliness was good in almost all the facilities, except for the room, we found dirty the area below the beds and some parts at the bathroom. The food component was something outstanding since they have a lot of variety in any hour and always caring of having food at the trays and containers. One thing that would be good, that they allowed all the members of the family to their game room, they had this area restricted just to teenagers and it was all the time empty. They also could implement any kind of show during nights, even if it's just every other day, this is something that make a difference in a vacation experience.
