Good for solo travellers
This hotel is perfect for business travellers and for solo travellers wanting a modern functional place to stay. It’s near the airport and old Dubai. It’s far away from the main city of Dubai and beaches, although the metro close by helps. Staff are really friendly and will go out of their way to help. The rooms are very clean with sheets changed every day. Rooftop pool and gym is amazing. The downsides of this hotel are the food and drinks options in house are quite expensive. The hot and cold water mixer in my shower didn’t work properly, with hot water coming out instead of cold. Finally, management really need to do something about the music piped throughout the hotel. The cover songs are awful and play on a 60 minute loop. This means you listen to annoying songs all day. I had to put my own headphones in. It would be better not having any music at all or to put a local radio station on, particularly around the pool. Still a great 4 star hotel with competitive room rates.

Service: very good and friendly. Room: OK - hard to find a comfortable temperature setting in shower. Smelt of cigarettes even though it was designated non smoking. Housekeeping: generally poor. Room left uncleaned until very end of the day. Laundry not returned on schedule.
