    In need of renovatoon

Rooms were in need of repair and a bit more cleaning. I was not Impressed with hotels.com charging me for a king room price for a queen bed room. Beautiful place great friendly staff but this place needs a full reno for fetching these kind of prices

    Pleasant Stay... Food is lacking.

Love the area it is world class and so peaceful, breathtaking. Seems like CRMR is struggling to keep things optimal for guests. Restaurants were closed do to covid but room service was easy access. Staff was very pleasant but the food was terrible. Maybe they need more time to figure out that room service quality, don't go there if you want good food lol.

    Disappointed beyond belief

The hotel room was aged, dirty and did not meet any of my expectations. The room was in a disappointing condition, there is a service level when one is paying this price... these two did not match each other. The housekeeping was unacceptable. The dirt in every corner illustrated the care in this property, not to mention hair left on the shower wall... that at a minimum is critical to the house keeping staff in maintaining acceptable standards for their guests.

Beautiful surrounding, friendly staff, great food but rooms rundown, several things missing in room, placed apart from family in different building, slightly disappointing for the price paid.

The food and location are incredible. The accommodations (cleanliness and comfort) are mixed. Would totally recommend for the dinning experience and proximity to nature, but know that the rooms are tired (and not very clean), and beds are uncomfortable.

Beautiful location, friendly and helpful staff. The views and the access to the outdoors are the stars of this property. Easy access to activities: gentle walks to more energetic cross country skiing and hiking. The rooms are rustic in design and not super large, though very comfortable. Log fires in the room. Several dining options: restaurant, lounge, bar and casual eating as well. This is not a sleek, modern hotel, but a beautiful place in traditional mountain style.

    Hobbit Village on the Lake!

A great place to shake off winter and to enjoy the beautiful and picturesque mountains, especially when using their hot tub. They've done a great job of also handling covid, opening up the Cilantro cafe for more space as well, which I suggest getting a lunch at. This is one of my favorite places and I've been here many times and will return many times to come! Thanks for the great memories especially of my elderly mother coming last year. The staff were incredible with her and gave her extra attention and even talked with her for a time which truly helped make her stay such a treasure. She was 85 for that trip! I'm hoping to have a chance to take her out there again.

Service- sceneries was excellent-didn’t know have to take a shuttle to the lodge. If you go there, remember pack your luggage into big pieces than you don’t have to many luggage to carry to your room, but the hotel will offer bring your luggage to your room..Restaurant was excellent service too, very cozy ❤️.No TV and wifi in your room )You can rent cross country ski there, good price $25/day. Have to stay at least 2night. I stayed here in the winter. Nice and quiet- shuttle service excellent. I will come back to stay again ❤️❤️👍

    Relaxing hideaway

The staff is extremely pleasant and was always offering their assistance. The rooms were a bit run down (chipped paint etc) but it’s part of the cabin charm. The location is beautiful and tucked away in the mountains. Unfortunately parking is offsite, and while we did not have to wait long to get a shuttle to check in, when we checked out there were many others doing the same and the shuttle would be about a 30 minute wait. My husband and I walked the 15 minutes along the private highway to our car with our luggage in hand (we are young and fit so this didn’t really bother us).

Emerald Lake is STUNNING! Its a fabulous place to unplug and get back into nature. You MUST bring snacks, drinks etc or else you will have to drive 45-1 hour to Banff. I would suggest to brings books, games, anything to keep you busy and relaxed. Our room did NOT have a fridge so I would highly suggest to bring a cooler! Our room did NOT have a TV either. Over all I am super thrilled with the resort and am looking forward to staying there again.
