Highbury is an urban neighborhood in central London that is well connected to the rest of the city by public transportation. It is also home to Premiership football at Arsenal FC’s Emirates Stadium, as well as a sports center and tennis courts in leafy Highbury Fields park. Upscale restaurants cluster near Highbury Corner, with artisan food stores, cafes, and global eateries in the village-like area on Highbury Grove. Quiet, tree-lined residential streets feature Italianate villas and grand Georgian homes, many converted into flats. As far as shopping options, there aren’t as many stores as other neighborhoods, but there are still some great boutiques and shops around. Highbury Fields park offers 29 acres (12 hectares) of green space, tennis courts, and a pool. Highbury is bordered on the north by Finsbury Park, on the east by Stoke Newington, on the south by Canonbury, and on the west by Holloway. There are multiple train stations located within walking distance from the flat: Canonbury (Overground), Highbury & Islington (Victoria), and Arsenal are all within 10-15 mins walk. The nearest train station is Canonbury – just 11 mins away on foot. It takes around 35 minutes to reach the city center by transit. Heathrow Airport is an hour's drive from the flat. Aside from the trains, there are a lot of good bus options nearby, number 4/19 from Highbury Barn and the number 141/341 from Green Lanes. The 393 bus that stops directly in front of the flats on Highbury New Park is a quick way to get to Highbury & Islington. This is a self-check-in property and you will be requested to verify your identity before being able to check into the flat. You can check-in any time of the day as long as you respect our standard check-in time (15:00 on the day). If you require additional cleans/ linens during your stay for a fee, please contact us. Also, note that we charge £50 for each set of lost keys (security keys may cost more). For security purposes, there may be an additional cost to replace the locks. So, please keep your keys safe :) PLEASE NOTE THAT: The home is on the fourth floor with stair access ONLY and NO LIFT, including stairs in the home. There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking in the property. If our team discovers any evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.) we fully reserve the right to charge a £300 smoking fee, at minimum.Please also note we do not allow parties, large gatherings, loud noises, or outside guests. Should we receive sufficient evidence of such activity we reserve the right to cancel your stay (without refund) and may involve a security team to evict you. Any associated cost will be charged to you via your security deposit. Local authorities may also be present (if required).
