I give this hotel 4 stars because though it's not awesome, it's not bad either. The hotel is in a convenient Addison location. There's a comfortable attractive lobby with a large tv on all the time, and plenty of tables and chairs for eating or working. I did have trouble getting checked in. I arrived just after 2pm, however when I tried to check in, the front desk clerk said there are no clean rooms available yet, so I waited in the lobby. Check in is at 3 and I guessed they must be strict about not allowing guests to check in early. At 3 I approached the counter again and the clerk said once again that there were no rooms available. I needed to prepare for a 6pm meeting and told her that I really need to check in. The clerk was new and working alone and this frazzled her a bit, but she did find me a room and while she was checking me in housekeeping approached to enter the rest of the available rooms. The room itself was not bad. The furniture surfaces were dusty and the little self serve coffee maker was dusty too, so I didn't use it, but the linens were spotless and the bathroom was clean. The bed and pillows were clean and comfy too. The TV offered streaming services, but it wasn't connecting to the internet so I couldn't use them, but it did have live tv to watch. I won't return to this hotel because there is another in Addison that I prefer, however if you want a decent experience for a little less $, this hotel might be a good fit for you.

The lady left me waiting for about ten minutes without uttering a word to me as she finished up her shift. Not even a "he'll be with you shortly" concerning the incoming receptionist. Furthermore, the hotel was overbooked, i lucked out by getting the last room, but heard the person behind me become irrate because the reservation they made for their family was null. Also, my hotel sink was slow draining and left residue. I would never stay there again.
