This is a historic hotel in need of update. Really old carpet and the down comforter between sheets was very dingy. I called the front desk on several occasions over my stay and the phone was never answered. There was no room service available except for a few hours at dinner but not on Monday which is when I stayed. You had to walk outside to by a bottle of water. I just found it to be inconvenient and a little run down.

Poor
Hotel room was dirty. You can tell they don’t wash the comforter and the couches and chairs had stains as well as the walls. I understand it’s an old hotel But I’ve stayed at many historic hotels and this was disappointing.

Another delightful stay!
It was lovely. Our Nextdoor neighbors had two dogs that were left alone and barking a lot. We reported it and the situation was quickly resolved. The continental breakfast is substantial and delicious.

Very good
Comfortable stay
Stay at this hotel was overall pleasant. It is conveniently located. The room was clean, and bed was very comfortable. The only issue I had was with the bathroom. The vent made a very loud noise, even after turning off the vent, when we close the door, something was making loud noise. Bathroom was also very cold, and bath tub is old and small; that it was not for soaking. Other than that, the stay at this hotel was comfortable and pleasant.

Poor
Awful stay
The room was listed as a deluxe king. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. The duvet was stained and disgusting. Furniture was stained and gross. The room was tiny and dusty. They asked me (illegally) for proof on paper my dog was a service animal, and only dropped the $25 pet charge when I told them I’d lost that paperwork in the recent fires and then showed them photos of stains in the room/on the bedding. The shower was hardly big enough for me to stand in (& I am 5’3”.) I had been traveling for 15 hours at that point with a kidney stone and was extremely displeased with both the room and the service.
