Overall, very good stay. The location is a short 7 min walk from an S-Bahn station and is also conveniently located within walking distance of both the Romerberg and Sachenhausen areas. Room was clean and comfortable, although as mentioned in other reviews, we did find the open shower concept a little amusing. We did not use the sauna downstairs but it looked nice and relaxing. The only issue we had was the heating (it was broken so the first night we were a little cold)… however, we spoke to reception the next day and they provided a small space heater which did the job nicely. Also, the hotel is directly across from a hospital so you do hear sirens on occasion - didn’t affect us as we use white noise to sleep.
