Extremely noisy environment!
There was a construction site right next to Hilton. The loud noise was starting as early as 6am and continued through the day till as late as 11pm: hummers banging, concrete mixers etc etc. Then, around 2am - 3am the owners of sport cars were having fun pressing accelerator pedals, so the loud noise of car engines could wake up dead from the grave.

Lively location, poor staff
Positioned in a very lively part of town. Can be difficult to get in and out of the hotel via car due to busy roads. People are constantly coming in and out of the hotel all night so a very disruptive night sleep if you get any. If you are looking for way access to shops, restaurants and bars, this would be good for you. Also located right next to an Irish bar and huge outside screen showing sport. Lastly, the service of the hotel was let down by the staff who made me wait 10 minutes for breakfast to open. But couldn’t find the courage to stop 3 individual business men entering (on separate occasions) to have their breakfast before it opened! And then couldn’t justify why she was treating me differently.. I’m not sure if was my attire, skin colour or both. I had a flight to catch though so soon departed. It was certainly uncomfortable and enough to ensure I never use this hotel again. Hilton may need to look into some staff development for their service team

We had a lovely spacious room which 2 Queen beds which was ideal for myself, my husband and my 19 year old son. We had partial sea views and partial walk views. Staff were very helpful. Beach area was lovely but best of all the positioning of the hotel is 5 minutes walk to all the lovely restaurants. We have stayed here a number of times and this is one of our favourite hotels. Definitely planning to go back and visit again next year.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Very run down and not at all the standard you would expect. When I arrived there wasn't even any running water for the entire day (they lied and said it was an issue effecting the whole city when in fact it was just this specific hotel). Not surprised they would need to flush out their water system - very poor hygiene standards. Nice area but serious construction taking place so all you can hear is drilling etc. Whilst trying to relax by the pool or on the beach - not quite the scenery you would be hoping for in Dubai. Staff are rude and unwilling to help you. Very dismissive. Didn't clean my room despite me specifically requesting it whilst I was out for the day. Overall worst experience I have ever had. Avoid like the plague!!!
