Could be better
It was a great location, close to winter garden and a late night concert we attended. The front desk was helpful, but the hotel left some things to be desired. I was surprised to see a tangled blob of black hair on the floor near the bathroom, and a few other hairs here and there. When I got into bed, it was so soft that I slid toward the middle of the bed where my husband was. The slant was not comfortable so I tried to compensate with a pillow and by sliding to the edge of the bed. Minor details like no facial tissues gave the feeling this hotel has not gone out of its way to make customers stay memorable.

No security - AVOID
On initial entry, the room seemed nice and recently updated. On closer observation - there where cobwebs in the corners on the walls, dust on the lamps and clocks. The bathroom was disappointing. Warm water at a trickle, barely enough to shower with. If you like cold, that comes out full pressure. Biggest concern was that the outside doors had card key entries that were for appearance only. They seemed to be disconnected and outside doors opened into stairwells freely. No security at all. I also noticed several rooms on my floor that were not in use, were propped open by interior locks - potentially allowing anyone in ... I've never seen that before and with easy, unobserved access from outdoors... who knows what that could be about. Would not stay again.

Ok room, smelled horrible
Our stay was ok, bed was extremely uncomfortable. Room was clean but poorly kept up with. Check in time starts at 3pm, I get a call at 5:45 asking me if I still plan on checking in today. I said yes but it won’t be until much later because we were at universal studios. They lady proceeded to tell me that if I don’t check in by 6pm the system will automatically cancel my reservation and I may not have a room. Crazy that they give you 3 hours to check in when the website says it’s from 3pm-midnight. She was unable to send me a link to confirm my reservation or take my card number over the phone. Fortunately, they did save our room. When we got there the check in process was quick and simple. The room was ok but reeked of cigarettes horribly, we also booked a non-smoking room.

It was okay
Front desk gentleman wasn't very personable and was more focused on his cell phone. The beds in the room weren't very comfortable. The bathroom wasn't clean very well, you could see toothpaste splatters around the mirror that wasn't cleaned. You could see where they tried to fix areas that needed to be fixed but the job was done pooly. There was mold on the bathroom door that looked like they previously painted over. Lots of noise throughout the halls at night. During checkout, I had to wait several minutes before the receptionist appeared from the back.

The property is rundown, hallway carpet is nasty, bathrooms are moldy and on need of a redo, outside areas is dirty trashy overall this is not a $200.00 at night hotel, will never stay there again and will not recommend it to anybody.
