Pools were great but fresh pool towels were rarely available (ran out and evidently washed off-site) - should purchase many more to accommodate the number of guests at resort since there was never a time in 7 days that they were available when requested the first time asked. Food on the all-inclusive plan was mostly not good. Food in main sit down restaurant was the worse. We booked an excursion off-site through the concierge and was given incorrect information about swimming during the excursion so we did not wear/bring swimsuits and there was an opportunity to swim during trip. We would not stay at this resort again but I would visit the island.

In all I would recommend this property as long as you know what you are getting beforehand. We looked at comparable properties on the island and found this one to be the best. Unfortunately there aren’t many all inclusive properties on the island. Pro’s: Gorgeous property, rooms were very nice and clean, beachfront rooms provide a beautiful view of Little Bay, clean beach, bartending staff was outstanding and super friendly, lots of amenities (kayaks, pools, beach chairs with umbrellas), nice dining options, most of the staff eager to please, nice hike to Ft Amsterdam, walking distance to Phillipsburg, unlike most all inclusive the wristband keys are great, on-site affordable car rental (we rented twice.) Con’s: the all inclusive package is only mostly inclusive (there are a few gotcha’s), had to sign a check every time you went to one of the bars or restaurants making you feel like you were being monitored, meal service was HORRIBLY slow, (one waiter we had two nights was incredibly rude - expect dinner to take multiple hours), they changed computer systems mid stay and none of the staff was trained, restaurants close early or never open without signage, their app was years outdated, at check in they attempt to give you a high pressure pitch for their timeshares, concierge only sold certain trips (others you were on your own.)

Property was very nice. Disappointed in the staff. Our flight was overbooked so we arrived a day later due to American Airlines. The hotel charged us a 130.00 "no show" fee for something that was out of our control. Loved the property but do not expect any sympathy from the staff. This was our 10 year anniversary trip and not even a complimentary glass of Champagne was offered.

Pretty large property but everything is easily accessible. Rooms are right on the beach. Food and drinks were very good, surprisingly good for all inclusive. Able to order specifically what you want rather than buffets. All inclusive ordering was a bit confusing at first but once an employee explained it, we enjoyed our trip

I loved that the rooms are close to the beach. We could sit on our patio and enjoy the ocean …. Loved that the beds were most comfortable.. good night sleep every night.l did not like the tub in bathroom. Tub is too high and very difficult and dangerous gettin in and out. Nothing to hold onto. Safety Bar in tub is too small and too low. Recommend showers only …. Also no nice place to have lunch and what is open does not open til 12 Noon….
