Overpriced
We’ve stayed at this hotel several times. In the beginning it was a great place to stay. The breakfast used to be much better. I’m sorry to say that the rooms are becoming run down and the breakfast is not that great. It was the same thing every day. Our bathroom door had the paint peeling off. The shower grout was dirty. The kitchen faucet was loose. All of the dishes seemed dirty. The carpet didn’t look clean. We stayed for 6 nights and had 3 towels and ran out of toilet paper. You have to ask 24 hours in advance for service. The phone in our room didn’t work. The bbq handle was broken. When my husband walked by in the morning he noticed that whoever had used it the night before had left the gas on. He turned it off. Normally I wouldn’t complain about petty stuff, but when you are paying $538.00 a night for a room, you should expect it to be worth it. This may have been our last stay here.

The property was nice and the area was perfect! A few broken items and my key continued to deactivate but I enjoyed my stay. Expedia’s first photo of the property is underwhelming and I think it should be changed. So I’m glad I looked at the other photos and the reviews. Nice hotel.

Hyatt House has much to praise: cleanliness of suites and property, including pool and hot tub, firepit; tasty breakfast buffet; ample parking. The three nights we spent there were lovely. Staff members were friendly and helpful--notably Amy and Brian !
