Ottimo hotel per Shimla!
Abbiamo soggiornato al Golden Fern Resort per due notti, per visitare Shimla. L'hotel si trova fuori dal centro, sulla strada che porta verso la località montana. La posizione è buona ma un po' isolata rispetto ad altri servizi (ristoranti, locali, attrazioni, ecc) che devono essere tutti raggiunti in macchina, traffico permettendo, perché nelle "ore di punta" è abbastanza difficoltoso muoversi sulle strade montane. Lo staff ci ha accolto in maniera impeccabile e si sono sempre occupati di noi con un occhio di riguardo. La nostra camera era spaziosa, calda e pulita e aveva una bellissima vista su Shimla. Abbiamo usufruito della colazione (compresa nel prezzo della stanza) e abbiamo poi anche cenato al ristorante dell'albergo entrambe le sere che abbiamo passato lì: una sera ordinando alla carta e una sera usufruendo del buffet. Sia per la colazione che per la cena c'era una buona varietà di di pietanze tipiche, tutte molto buone e ad un buon prezzo. L'ultima mattina, dovendo partire prima dell'apertura del ristorante, lo staff (su richiesta) ci ha fatto trovare un "packed lunch" da portare con noi. Unica pecca, per noi abbastanza consistente però, è stata l'impossibilità di pagare con la nostra carta di credito internazionale al momento del check out, in quanto l'hotel accetta solo carte indiane!
