We were very well received on the first night we arrived. The staff were professional. There was an error on our booking but the staff were able to address it promptly and changed our room immediately. It was a quiet and relaxed stay and we will definitely be going back there in future. My wife and I are very grateful for out stay, it was definitely value for money.

4/10 Fair

The room and bar overall was very clean but the grounds did seem bit rundown and unkempt. The mattress was one of the most uncomfortable one's I had ever slept on in fact the whole bed seemed little small for the room as the fixed bedside tables were over 50cm from the bed. There was a unexpected extra charge for the parking which for a hotel out of a city centre I would not expect to have to pay. While booking through Hotel.com a breakfast would have been a extra at £17 per person which i decided was rather expensive but on arrival I read that a pre booked breakfast was Actually £9.99 or £13.50 on the day of the breakfast so I don't know who was trying to rip me off at £17 originally.

I’ve stayed here quite a few times over the years. The staff are consistently welcoming and friendly. In particular, Harman has always been very helpful, polite and professional during check in and out. Also there’s plenty of parking and the fresh milk vending machine is a great addition!
