My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and were so happy with our experience! The resort was absolutely beautiful and had plenty to do as well as help you set up excursions. We got massages one day which were phenomenal and another day they helped us set up an excursion to Mariettas Island (definitely recommend!) The resort is still pretty new and you can definitely tell- it was impressively clean (even at the poolside bathrooms!). It was a lot bigger than we had imagined so there was quite a bit of walking to get places but we did not mind. The restaurants were all great- our favorites were Bordeaux, Olio and Portofino. The service was always spectacular and the foods were delicious and had plenty variety. We never really went over to the Dreams side but it was nice to be able to go if we wanted. The pools were also great, we spent most of our time at the swim up bar so we could get a drink whenever we wanted. The 8th floor Preferred area pool was also a great spot to get easy service and for a more quieter relaxing environment. The entertainment at night was a nice touch- we were to the Rock Show and the Fire Show and both were very entertaining! We will definitely be searching for more Secrets resorts because of this stay!

This is the second AMR property I've stayed in, this time choosing the Secrets Adults only option. Since the Dreams resort was in the same location we were able to use practically all the amenities. It was nice to have some adult only dining and pool options for some extra quiet. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Drinks of course were plentiful. We weren't able to try all the dining options to give a full opinion on the food. What we did try was good, but nothing to write home about.

They are the type of business that always pulls a fast one on their customers. We didn't get what we paid for, and they beat around the bush. Expedia provided minimal support onsite and basically told us to figure it out once we got back to the United States. Just pay more somewhere else for a place with a proven track record.

When we got our room there was a open drink inside fridge and also over night our room got flooded because there was no seal on door like other rooms had. Food was honestly one of the worst ive had in a mexico resort. Also the alcohol did not taste like it was real and had no effect. Overall bad experience. The electricity went out a few times.
