There are many activities you can do like cycling, rafting, jeep safari, hiking.....this area is perfect for adventurers. You can visit National park Kornati by boat or go hiking in National park Paklenica, Velebit. Jeep safari to Velebit mountainAlthough the mountain can be reached on foot, for all those who are not accustomed to hiking, and want to see Velebit, this trip is the right thing. Several roads and paths stretch through Velebit, and they are best passed by off-road vehicle on all 4 plants. Such are the vehicles that will take you on this trip. The starting point is agreed with the guide, in some cases they can even pick you up at your accommodation. The Jeep has room for three in the front and in the middle, and four more on the transverse benches in the rear of the vehicle. Keep in mind that you drive on macadam roads and that the journey is quite hectic - it may not be bad to take a cushion for a bench with you. The whole trip consists of a ride through the beautiful landscapes of Velebit, with a visit and several places where films about Winnetou were made. It also crosses the Lika side, through green forests. Every now and then you stop, so you can enjoy the view and the fresh air - in any case, don’t forget to bring a camera. The trip also includes lunch - a picnic that is usually organized on a glade, in the shade of trees. On the way back you stop in Muškovci, where you can refresh yourself with a drink in a rustic cafe or in the cold waters of the river Zrmanja. From the equipment for this trip we recommend long clothes, because the untouched nature is inhabited by various animals (eg ticks and spiders), and protection from the sun.
