Its ok to be nice and friendly
The hotel was pretty good. Clean as i would of expected. The only downfall is customer service. I was looking at the staff member that was checking us in an thinking, its ok to smile an it it cost nothing to be nice and friendly. Havent been back to the gold coast for over 34 years an was really excited but this wad definately a negative memorie

Sensational property
We stayed at the Meriton Surfers Paradise for 3 nights, midweek, in a 1 bedroom Studio Coast suite. We were very impressed by the size of the apartment, it was huge. There was a full kitchen and laundry and a semi enclosed balcony that had views of the ocean and the mountains. The hotel itself has an amazing indoor pool, an outdoor pool and a gym. There is a restaurant and a bar onsite that have great views and yummy food. Happy hour in the bar on weekdays was a bonus. The rear of the hotel has a convenience store onsite plus you are just across the road from the Cypress Avenue tram stop which gives you easy access to the coast from Broadbeach to Helensvale. Highly recommended. We will stay here when we return to the GC.
