We will return here when in St Augustine. Great location. Great restaurant. Great staff. Never needed our car once valet parked. Only negative comment is when bathroom light was put on it lit the bedroom due to glass wall separation.

Close to downtown but too heavily perfumed.
The good: very close to downtown, quiet rooms and very clean. The room was spacious and has a small fridge for drinks and a safe for valuables. Good to know:Valet parking is the only real option for parking, and is 35$ per day. The pool is really small, shallow and closes at around 8 pm. There is an odd rule posted that guests are only allowed to use it for 15 minutes. The not so great: The main floor and all the hallways and elevators smell Very strongly of heavily perfumed laundry sheets. It was very overwhelming and we stayed in our room or exited the hotel very quickly to avoid the scent. Our room did not have any noticeable odor luckily, but if you are at all sensitive to strong scents be warned, i have stayed in many hotels over the years and have never experienced anything like it. I can't even imagine how the hotel would achieve the degree of perfume we experienced in such a large space and over such an extended period of time. It was akin to being stuck in an elevator with someone who dumped a whole bottle of perfume on their clothes before getting in.
