Average stay

Our daughter was unwell so we were not able to attend the first night however, i called twice on Friday (one during the day and again in the evening) to ensure my booking for the second night would remain. When i arrived to check in Saturday evening, i was told that my booking had in fact been cancelled and it was by chance that there was one room available. I would like the phone calls that i made to be looked into and an enquiry made as to why my booking was cancelled instead of following my clear instructions on both phone calls. The gentleman that served us in Reception when we arrived was friendly and I can't fault him but if there had not been a room, i would have been in an exteremly difficult position with a child.
