    Royally Disappointing - DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

    DO NOT STAY! We left after 2 days. Spoke w/ management who acknowledged the hotel was in bad shape, but offered nothing to remedy the situation and refused to refund. The property is VERY beat up - the furniture & fixture sheets, beach towels, and chairs are stained, rusted, chipped and frayed. WE HAD NO RUNNING WATER FOR A FULL DAY! The hotel is an all-inclusive, which is not detailed on Hotels.com (you are paying for a non-all-inclusive rate), additionally the photos on this site are extremely outdated. The food at the restaurants on property was disgusting. (Eg. Roti filled with cartilage, skin & bone. A hamburger that did not taste like beef. A wilted salad was missing 2/3rds of the ingredients listed on the menu. We did not finish anything we started and avoided eating or drinking at the hotel whenever possible. The service, while somewhat friendly, was incredibly slooow - 15-20 minutes for a (weak) drink, 30 minutes more for the bill. The beach was fine, water was rough. It seems "security" was friendly with the local beach hockers & did nothing to keep them from pestering guests. We typically look for the bright side in these situations, however every time we tried to overlook things another issue popped up. Later learned that Royalton brand bought this hotel with the intention to knock it and two other properties down - the hotel next door has already been demolished. No intention to further invest in this hotel; it's waiting for the wrecking ball!

    Service was great. Our housekeeper Jennifer was very friendly and did a great job. Guest ice machine was broken but anyone would go get some for you if they saw you with a bucket.

    Lovely hotel

    Really nice hotel, right on the beach with a lovely pool and swim up bar. Staff were great, really helpful. We didn’t do all inclusive so no comment on the food. There is an amazing Indian across the road from the hotel if you get a chance.

    Expensive place - needs significant management cha

    I'll start with the positive - the bartenders were great people and we enjoyed getting to know them. They were truly trying to do the best they could. Frederik, Nigel and Michell at the bar were excellent. Beyond that, the hotel was average at best. The food was not good, the hotel seemed to constantly be running out of beers (Pitons were always out and its the local beer) and even food was always running out. Food also took very very long. I wouldn't visit this location again.
