Very good
Hotel was great but a very experience due to the coronavirus having an impact on the service that was provided. Lots of hand sanitiser around the hotel and good social distancing markings so I felt comfortable in that respect

€55 for a bottle of Pinot Grigio topped it off for what cost €6 in the shops. The most expensive hotel bar i have ever stayed at.

The hotel website's description states it's on the banks of the Rhine-it isn't-it's at least a 40 minute walk away. Very modern, spacious hotel. Typical hotel room. Room very warm at night-there was an issue with air conditioning. Engineers only able to work to rectify it on empty rooms. Booking stated king size bed-got twin beds. Seems the hotel doesn't have many king size beds to allocate. Check in takes ages-there was a constant queue even with 5 receptionists. Check-in states from 3pm but guests were being checked in all the time. The location is probably fine for business travellers to the exhibition centre nearby but it's not central for Cologne city. Tram stop nearby but this didn't take us into city centre. Very few restaurants nearby within walking distance so 40min walk into the centre and back or taxi 10.50euros each way. Tea making facilities in room.Mini waste bin still had previous guest's rubbish in. Despite telling reception it wasn't emptied during our 3 day stay. Supplies not replenished -1 of each tea for 2 guests. 1 cocoa as previous guest's empty packet was still in the bin. Mini bar empty. 2 complimentary bottles of water not replenished. Breakfast expensive at 25 euros but a very good selection. Don't know how anyone can eat 25euros worth at breakfast. Chocolate fountain & gluwein on Sunday. Wouldn't return here.

Checked tthe hotel for 1 night. Booked 3 other rooms for friends. Upon arrival we are impressed by the spaciousness and decor of the lobby. We went up to the rooms both my room and that of one of my friends had brushes left in the toilet bowls. In addition the waste basket of my friend's room was left on the shelf. That night we had drinks in the lobby. The waitress refused to allow us to charge to the room and even shouted at the us. Could be that we are Asians. This hotel is best at being unpleasantness and in housekeeping.
