Great stay at the InterContinental Warsaw

The service at the InterContinental Warsaw was fabulous. The Concierge was extremely helpful with arranging car service to/from the airport, antigen testing, etc. We stayed at the hotel two different times during our trip to Europe. The first time, the shower was not cleaned well and the service we received at the check-in desk was not great. The second time, however, the room and bathroom was very clean and the service was much better. The pool is over-crowded, but the spa was nice. We did not eat in the restaurant as it appeared to be much fancier than we wanted.

Me and my daughter had to stay in Warsaw in our way gome. We chose this hotel because my daughter has already been there and loved it. It was great. The hotel is amazing. We were upgraded to a room just in front of the Pałac Kultury i Nauki it. The room is big, clean and very nice. You have a coffee machine, Tea, complimentary bottle of water. The bathroom is well equipped with quality products. The staff were nicest and helpful. It was a great stay. P.s. According to the Corona situation we couldn't use any of the amenities.

    5* plus

It is a 5-star hotel, so there is lots of elements you expect in the hotel of that rating. But I was really pampered by the extra mile the hotel and concierge service took in order to make us feel even more comfortable. And in the era of number of limitations (e.g. dinner to be served in the room), that wasn't easy, yet, the staff made every moment of the stay in the hotel an extraordinary and pleasent experience. Thank you!

Average in relation to cost didn’t feel like 5star

Nice room with fantastic view however stay let down by awful water pressure for showering, disappointing breakfast and overhyped pool and hot tub. Also suspended ropes crashing into the windows at early morning, not sure what these were, maybe the windows were being washed? Wouldn’t return.

Before starting my review, I want to highlight that this is rated as 5 stars hotel. The hotel itself is nice, in a very good position and very clean. It was very clean and hand sanitizers were available everywhere. The check-in experience was quite cold, but having spent 5 years in Poland I do know that this is a cultural block, really don't understand why. You could easily sense the lack of natural kindness and positive energy you get somewhere else. The room was very spacious with an amazing view and, I must say, extremely clean. I did not appreciate some missing/broken "buttons" in the shower, it made me feel I was in a much lower class hotel. Another surprising thing was the presence of only one robe for the spa and one shower towel. Not a big issue, we called the reception and asked for the missing items but if the room is for 2 why should I find half towels? Also, TV channels were not working fine with some stuttering and interruptions due to the bad signal. It felt like we were in the countryside and not in the big capital. The big disappointment, though, came from the spa and the way the Hotel manages it (or actually doesn't). You cannot access the jacuzzi in more than one, fine, but if an unmannered family takes full control of it, you won't have a chance to use it. The hotel should at least introduce a reservation policy but they seem not to care. Welcome back to the 80's holiday villages where you must fight to use facilities.
