Only the Lobby is good
Not good at all. Started with a cramped room without any class, the lobby makes you feel better but the room totally lets you down. Furthermore there are charges of $30 per night which is a very fine print that I obviosuly didnt read... Totally avoidable... My room was on the streetside and even after being on 10th floor, it was way too noisy for a sound sleep... Avoid if you can

Good 6.0
Disappointing room for a “4*” hotel.
Firstly the hotel staff were great: friendly, helpful and welcoming. On first impressions we had Hugh hopes. The location is central, right outside MSG so that was a positive. The lobby looked great too, modern, clean and stylish. We went up to our room on the 21st floor and upon entry were incredibly underwhelmed. The bed wasn't particularly comfortable and the furniture was well worn. The bathroom was the worst part though. It wasn’t especially unclean however it resembled a prison cell. The toilet wasn’t great, and the shower was terrible! The sink was tiny and looked like it had been there for decades. Despite the bedroom being spacious and having nice wallpaper that is about as far as the positives go. The mirror was above an unnecessary chest of draws and not above the desk which made it hard to get ready too. The only reason I haven’t given a lower score is because the staff were lovely.

Fabulous Location
Great location. Very nice hotel. Shower in room (studio type room) was a little small as was the bathroom. Other than that, this was a fantastic place. Right across the street from Penn Station.

Very good 8.0
A place to rest your head.
Stewart Hotel was my last stop after 3 weeks of travel. I was looking forward to visiting again, having stayed here twice before. I had heard that they had changed management. Upon arrival the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Our room was small but we didn’t mind as did not spend a lot of time in it. The bathroom looked a bit old with scratches and paint chips and the towels were quite small- small things! It was clear the hotel needed a bit of a facelift and I think, based on noises we heard quite early in the morning, that this may be starting to happen. The hotel is in a great spot and overall our stay was pleasant.

Exceptional 10.0
Questionable beginning, good ending
When we checked in to our room, we found they were renovating the room above us. It took a while, but they changed our room to several floors above and it was larger and had a walk out to a roof top! Staff was pleasant, the front desk seemed to need more staff to quicken response. Very comfy bed.
