I live in Winnipeg so I always thought the Inn at the Forks was a fancy place, but after staying there for a night I was disappointed. When we checked in we were told there was no room service, which would’ve been nice to know ahead of time as that was a big reason for booking (we wanted to treat ourselves & that’s why we got a hotel to begin with). I understand with covid things are different I just think they should put something on their website (if it’s there I could not find it). Our room had a great view but the heat did not work, so we were ‘upgraded’ to a deluxe king with a lesser view, and the toilet did not flush. My boyfriend fixed it himself as I didn’t want to call anybody to our room again (probably should’ve but oh well). The hostesses at Smith restaurant weren’t very professional and did not ask us if we needed assistance while we were looking at their menu posted outside, so we went somewhere else unaware that they had more food to offer- I guess we should have asked them but we did not know any different until looking online at their menu later in the evening. The beds are very comfy and everything looked really nice and clean and the staff was great with helping us with the heating issue! I usually don’t complain about things but I was pretty disappointed.

Very good
The only draw back was that the restaurant closed 10 minutes before i got there the one night. I ended up eating chocolate bar and chips with some wine i had brought with me. My own fault really. I was so busy looking at the menu in my room and seriously could not decide what i wanted.

Second time staying at Inn at theForks. Checkin was a bit long but social distancing barriers were appreciated. Room was comfortable, pretty, very comfortable bed! Movies were available for rent which is a nice option.

Wonderful boutique hotel located in a historic district . Forks and Downtown are located within walking distance. The only issue is the rail yard is located nearby too and freight trains run all day and night and you may have issues sleeping if you are a light sleeper
