An absolutely excellent hotel. Genuinely five star professional and efficient service from reception & concierge through to housekeeping (inc. proper turn down service) and spa services. High standards and polite professionalism are maintained throughout and it is a very pleasant place to stay. (We stayed for 12 nights & my partner used to work in five-star hospitality so if there were issues we would have noticed them, but there really weren’t any). Bed linens, towels etc all top quality. A couple of observations: Light switches in rooms are amusingly complex & might benefit from a few labels. After 12 days we still couldn’t get it right first time! Signature scent in lobby is too strong, it’s a bit overpowering and hard to escape from. Could be reduced by 50%. Rooftop pool is lovely especially for the morning sun. Fashionable chains like W or Hoxton could learn a lot from the standard of service at Epic Sana.

An overwhelming experience at a bargain price!
From start to finish, this hotel paid attention to every detail. From pickup at the airport to the final drop off, nothing was overlooked. The bartenders, especially Joel Pereira in the Lobby Bar, were friendly and knew our preferences by our second visit to the bar. The breakfast buffet, including custom orders, was an overwhelming success. Housekeeping was on top of any request. And the rooftop pool was a pleasant respite from the afternoon heat. This was equal to any 5 star hotel that I have previously experienced but at a fraction of the price. It will be my go to accommodation whenever in Lisbon!
